01/25/2010: HCIM and DataWing Software Begin SymKey for EZ-CAP DataWing Auto-Post Module Co-Development Project

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Jan. 25, 2010 – HealthCare Information Management, Inc. (HCIM) and DataWing Software, an HCIM business affiliate, began work today on a collaborative effort to create a SymKey® for EZ-CAP® DataWing Auto-Post Module that will automatically post data from DataWing Software’s Eligibility Manager® and DataTug applications into EZ-CAP’s Eligibility module.

“Our products are all about helping our clients increase eligibility accuracy and reduce manual processes. Southern California Physicians Managed Care Services (SCPMCS) licenses the SymKey for EZ-CAP Professional Claims Module

(PUP) of Winter Park, Florida has retained their Consulting Services to assist PUP’s staff with the further refinement and the application of configuration best practices for their EZ-CAP® managed care application.

HealthCare Information Management, Inc. (HCIM) Announces New SymKey for EZ-CAP Customer – CareMore Medical Enterprises

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Jan. 15, 2008 – After a successful installation, HCIM’s SymKey® for EZ-CAP® Professional Claims module went into production at CareMore Medical Enterprises today. CareMore signed a three-year licensing agreement with HCIM for the SymKey® automated claims processing system on November 30, 2007.

CareMore representatives first experienced a SymKey demonstration at the EZ-CAP UCON conference in October 2007.

“After we evaluated the functionality, we thought SymKey would improve our claims processing because of its tight integration and automation capabilities,” said Chuck Weber, CareMore’s Senior Vice President of Operations.

CareMore believes that HCIM’s innovative solutions will give them an edge in the increasingly competitive healthcare industry.

“We foresee a 10 to 20% reduction in the cost of processing a claim, because when SymKey automates our claims adjudication process, it takes the burden away from our full-time staff,” said Weber.
