SymKey® for EZ-CAP version 1.30
SymKey® for EZ-CAP version 1.30 is in the final stages of user testing and will be released for general availability in October 2009. Version 1.30 features a Microsoft® .NET Graphical User Interface with a SQL Server® database, and includes the following enhancements and additional functionality:
- Improved Main Menu
- Improved Configuration Screens
- New Save/Load/Clear Scenario Template functionality
- New Ignore Pending for COB checkbox within the claims processing modules
- Ability to switch between EZ-CAP® databases without logging out of SymKey
- Enhanced Hard Duplicates Generation tool
- Improved Batch and Historical Productivity Reports
Appeals Manager™ Enhancements
A new and improved Appeals Manager will be released for general availability in October 2009, and includes the following enhancements:
- Improved menu , dialogs, and entry screens
- New View Only security mode
- New Configuration setup to recommend or require letter comments to be entered for specific letter reason codes
- New Check number entry field for overturn/payment letter
- Enhanced hotkey functionality
- Enhanced editing of the provider address on an appeal, allowing the entered address to be carried through from the acknowledgement letter to the decision letter
- Letter improvements including date of service list, optional check number, increased letter view size, and general appearance

TriZetto CSPP
HCIM is proud to be included in TriZetto’s Certified Service Partner Program (CSPP). The CSPP is an innovative outcomes-driven program that trains and certifies business partners in best-practice implementations and use of TriZetto’s QNXT™, FACETS®, CareAdvance Enterprise®, and NetworX Suite® systems. EZ-CAP® V6 Upgration Consulting Services Agreement
In May 2009, HCIM entered into a long term, collaborative consulting services agreement with MZI HealthCare, to support client upgration (upgrade/migration) efforts to the new EZ-CAP® V6 platform. HCIM is honored to be an Official EZ-CAP® Partner since 2006. This distinction sets HCIM apart as a trusted provider of products and services that tightly integrate with MZI Healthcare’s EZ-CAP® platform.

HCIM to launch new Website and Corporate Blog in October 2009
HCIM teamed up with their talented design agency, Zumablue, to create a new and improved website with more content, a better layout, and additional functionality. The new website will include a media room that will feature webinar videos, product sheets, and other media content as it becomes available. HCIM will also be launching its own interactive corporate blog that will give readers instant access to information such as New Products/Enhancements, ICD-10 Resource Center, Tips & Tricks, Ask an Expert, FAQs, HCIM News Bulletin, and CEO Update!
HCIM to Attend MZI HealthCare’s 19th Annual EZ-CAP® National User Conference
